Taking care of yourself, your staff and your patients This interactive workshop will explore the big issues for employers of healthcare staff in 2019. The session will include case studies, humour, challenging role plays (in small groups only), and evidence-based handouts and helpful tips to take away.

Helen Rimington is one of the nation’s leading workplace mental health trainers and facilitators. She was the Director of En Masse, a Melbourne-based workplace training and culture change organisation for five years, a former Beyondblue facilitator and National Workplace Program Trainer. Helen has delivered workplace training in depression and mental health to people from a wide variety of professions. She has worked in a range of settings from corporate (e.g., ANZ, Bupa, Guild Group, Beca Engineering, Macquarie Bank, DeLoittes, Goldman Sachs), government departments (DFAT and Dept of Transport), The Centre for Adolescent Health, health and welfare settings, in the prison system, and has developed curricula and taught on the subject of mental health at post-graduate level at The University of Melbourne. She also provides holistic executive coaching, as well as workplace mediation and conciliation. Helen has served as Deputy CEO at Drummond Street Services, Victoria’s longest running child and family relationship counselling service provider, which also offers training services for professionals. Her trademark approach is a unique blend of humorous, in-touch, interactive elements backed by a strong commitment to evidencebased science and methodology.
