This workshop will cover the essentials of record keeping for the practice: • Guidelines • Access and retention • Privacy and consent.

Susan Hunter & Karon Ross Registered Nurses (Div 1&2)
Aseptic technique means using practices and procedures to prevent contamination from pathogens. It involves applying extra precautions to minimise risk of infection using measures in current standards and guidelines. Today Susan and Karon will share their expertise and will demonstrate the procedure for setting up, working within, and closing down the aseptic field.
Susan Hunter and Karon Ross both work for Southern Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. They have assisted Dr Brian McMillan and Dr Sunia Vudiniabola for over 15 years to ensure that an aseptic field is provided for all procedures in the practice.
