Pacific Links Foundation has learned that the gift of empowerment is the gift that continues giving for generations. Empowerment gives each young woman and girl the chance to escape the risk of trafficking. Empowerment gives her the opportunities to go to school to become a change-maker herself, to fulfill her potential, and perhaps one day become the next great artist, scientist, doctor, teacher who can help those around her in return. It is the gift that can lead to our dreams of a trafficking-free society- it destroys the vicious cycle of trafficking that affects entire families, generations, and sometimes even entire villages. Most importantly it is a gift that no one can ever take away from the young women and girls that you help.
