Adams Cable Equipment (ACE) is recognized as an innovator and solution provider to its customers. Since 1998, ACE has become a global leader in the telecommunications industry specializing in Customer Premise Equipment (CPE), Outside Plant Material (OSP), ITAD services, and the End-of-Life-Management of used electronics.

As a woman-owned business, ACE operates a 140,600-square-foot facility and takes pride in revolutionizing the life cycle solutions of electronics, emphasizing reuse over disposal to create a cleaner and greener society. We have experience working with clients in all market segments, from small businesses to government agencies and Fortune 500 companies. Our certified processes create secure and transparent solutions, ultimately leading to greater returns, confidence, and peace of mind.

CABLE HARDWARE & SERVICES

ACE, an authorized Arris/CommScope refurbisher, offers a large selection of products, including head end, set tops, line gear, modems, routers, switches, remotes, and accessories. Our “Screen and Clean” service allows you to turn your field pull equipment into a usable product quickly and cost-effectively. Each unit will be tested, cleaned, and kitted for redeployment to your customers.

OUTSIDE PLANT MATERIAL (OSP)

Adams Cable is an authorized stocking distributor of fiber optic cable and network build material. We partner with some of the most respected manufacturers in the industry including Corning, GAON, Lexington Ames, OFS, Wavenet, WaveOptics, J&H, and Bulldog Pipe. Our clients lean on ACE’s familiarity with the industry and years of expertise when sourcing materials.

ITAD SOLUTIONS

ACE tailors a streamlined, cost-effective ITAD (IT Asset Disposition) solution that guarantees secure IT asset removal while maximizing reuse on retired equipment. In addition, our certified processes eliminate risk by ensuring secure data destruction, environmental stewardship, and legislative compliance.

END-OF-LIFE MANAGEMENT

All end-of-life material is processed utilizing our state-of-the-art shredding system. Product is shredded into two-inch pieces and, using advanced technology, sorted into plastic, steel, aluminum, circuit board, etc. These commodities are then sent directly to North American smelters for final recovery. This, combined with our no-landfill policy, ultimately helps reduce our clients’ carbon footprint.

The core of ACE is our ability to refresh and resell digital set tops, DOCSIS modems, routers, eMTAs, data gateways, line gear, switches, remotes, and accessories. Essentially, we deal with everything from head-end down to the customer premise and everything in between.

AUTHORIZED ARRIS/COMMSCOPE REFURBISHER

Adams Cable Equipment is proud to be an exclusive authorized reseller and refurbisher of Arris/CommScope customer premise equipment. This allows ACE to meet customer demand for thoroughly tested Arris/CommScope product which is updated to the latest authorized firmware at a great price! In addition, excess inventory and field pulls are our specialty as we assist service providers in reselling their excess CPE.

SCREEN & CLEAN

Adams Cable Equipment offers a screen and clean service for cable modems, eMTAs, and wireless gateways. All products are tested and updated utilizing our state-of-the-art Promptlink testing system. We can provide power supplies, ethernet patch cables, individual labeling, or other custom needs. Any equipment that fails testing is either returned to the client or recycled in-house.

• All end-of-life material is processed within our 140,600-square-foot facility and shredded into a two-inch smelter-ready finished product.

• Our shredding process meets NIST 800-88 for secure destruction of data-containing devices.

• The smelter-ready product is then turned into valuable raw commodities (steel, aluminum, copper, precious metals, etc.) to help save our natural resources; this cradle-to-grave process helps reduce our clients’ carbon footprint.
