Your host for the evening Jason Dirden Jason Dirden is a critically acclaimed television, film and Broadway actor, hailing from Houston, Texas. He is currently in OWN's hit tv series "Greenleaf" starring as tv's #1 character you love to hate, Pastor Basie Skanks! Jason has appeared on Broadway in both Tony Award winning revivals, "A Raisin In The Sun" and "Fences", opposite Denzel Washington and Viola Davis. In addition to "Greenleaf," a few of Jason's television credits include Tyler Perry's House Of Payne and the CBS procedural crime drama "Elementary!" He is a graduate of Morehouse College and the University of Illinois.
