NEW BUILDING OF NATIONAL MUSEUM The New Buildin of the National Museum (former Federální Shromáždění Building) is located next to the Main Building of the National Museum. The former Prague Stock Exchange was built in 1937.

In 2000, the Ministry of Culture declared the building a cultural monument.

In 2009, the building was assigned to the National Museum for its permanent extension and is used for short-term exhibitions.

Turning to any institution, first of all we encounter a giant architectural body, with a variety of shapes and textures on the skin of the object. This is something that is fixed primarily in our memory. The component that remains unchanged for a long time, even if the internal functions of the building fade away. This is a certain basis where the museum begins. The museum object is fixed by means of a photograph at a certain moment,

at a certain point in space.

Then single architectural elements are separated and collected. Subsequently, a letter is created using these elements. One by one a pseudo – volume composition is formed. The composition that seeks to imitate the original line of an architectural object.

Museum is strictly focused only for arcade machines with exclusive deal for small and large players You will not find a single slot machine in our exposition.

Not only for kids! Those oversized beeping and blinking neon wardrobes contain more than just thousands of hours of wasted time.

They are memory makers. If you are one of those 80s or 90s kids you probably know them. Yes. The infamous arcade games machines. Back then those machines were mechanical only. Talking about first pinball machines dated back to the early 30s which means it was still quite a long journey to get to the appearance we know them nowadays. When I decided to work on a typeface for

arcade game museum I wanted to go basic. Back to basic, right there where it all started. Finding the intersection between mechanical and arcade games, between old and new. This part was crucial for the whole project. Not focusing only on the visible surface but going deeper in time. "Play nice" typeface is an interactive tribute to the roots of the very first entertainment systems and to every awesome childhood memory which we have to take care of and do not ever let them die.

M.U.S.A CANCÚN UNDERWATER MUSEUM OF ART MUSA is located in Cancun, Mexico. English version is the Underwater Museum of Art). There are over 500 sculptures, which are made of special sea concrete, which does not harm the seaweed and sea creatures. The main goal of the museum is to distract divers from the corals, so they do not destroy them. The statues are covered in seaweed, which makes them even more interesting. Most of the sculptures are made by the British sculptor Jason deCaires Taylor and the others by five Mexican sculptors (Karen Salinas Martínez, Roberto Díaz Abraham, Rodrigo Quiňones Reyes, Salvador Quiroz Ennis, Elier Amado Gil).

I chose this museum because when I discovered it on the Internet, I was interested in it and I knew right away that working on the alphabet for this museum would be entertaining. My alphabet is directly inspired by underwater sculptures.

I like how the statues are variously deformed by the seaweed and sea creatures that live in them. I created the alphabet so that each letter resembled a covered statue. The font is difficult to read because the statues are covered in seaweed and sometimes it is hard to tell

how they looked before.

The scripture is deliberately difficult to read because the statues are also difficult to distinguish from their original form because of the seaweed. The color is dark blue to make it look more like the ocean.

MEGURO PARASITOLOGICAL MUSEUM

The Meguro Parasitological Museum is a small medical museum in the Meguro Ward in central Tokyo, Japan.

The museum is devoted to parasites and the science of parasitology, and was founded in 1953 by Dr. Satoru Kamegai. On display are 300 preserved specimens, including an 8.8 metres (29 ft)-long Diphyllobothrium nihonkaiense tapeworm.

The research library contains 60,000 parasite specimens, as well as 50,000 papers and 5,000 books on parasitology.

The inspiration for my alphabet was the Meguro parasitological Museum in Tokio. This museum has the biggest collection of parasites in the world. The concept of this alphabet is based on the famously used font–Helvetica, and the object, which are the parasites that parasitize on it.

It symbolizes the main basis of the parasites. Helvetica is used on purpose because it is generally known to the public. Parasites twirl around the letters and their intent is to attack the letters and infect them. The visualization of the parasites presents

a tapeworm because it represents a big group of parasites, it is known that about 5000 species exist. The construction of this object is created to have a segmented body similar to that of a tapeworm. It is made of many similar segments that create the parasite. The color is also symptomatic to the main character of this inspiration.

VIKTOR WYND MUSEUM OF CURIOSITIES The Viktor Wynd Museum of Curiosities, Fine Art & Natural History is a museum and bar in Hackney. It is operated

by Viktor Wynd and part of The Last Tuesday Society and was funded on Kickstarter in 2015.

The museum collection includes classic curiosities such as hairballs, two headed lambs and Fiji mermaids.The museum‘s natural history collection includes dodo bones and extinct bird feathers, as well as much taxidermy and the skeleton of a giant anteater. It also displays celebrity faecal matter, erotica and condoms used by the Rolling Stones.

"Curious" font was designed for Viktor Wynd Museum of Curiosities. The main thought was to design some of the letters to look like the exhibit (two headed lamb, Fiji mermaids or shrunken heads). I also wanted to try some different technique than doing the font in regular graphic programs.

So I started thinking about the technique called etching needle. The process is complicated, first it is necessary to carve the motive you want into a metal plate.

You must push really hard to ensure that the print will be

visible. Then, you print it on wet, special soft paper.

This technique helped me tomake the font look like the old pics in a bestiary. The alphabet is a supplement of the font Eczar. The alphabet looks a little bit chaotic, however, such is the whole exhibition in this Museum.

TOKIO ORIGAMI MUSEUM

The Japan Origami Museum is the world’s largest museum dedicated to the nearly 400-year-old art of folded paper. The museum exhibits 100,000 works, including many that won prestigious awards in origami competitions. Use a microscope to view the world’s smallest paper crane, which is smaller than the tip of a human hair.

Origami is the art of paper folding, which is often associated with Japanese culture. In modern usage, the word "origami" is used as an inclusive term for all folding practices, regardless of their culture of origin. The goal is to transform a flat square sheet of paper into a finished sculpture through folding and sculpting techniques. This geometric sans-serif typeface name "Origami" is inspired by this old Japanese origami technique, which was specially prepared for the Origami museum located in Tokyo,

Japan. The font is characterized by sharp edges and curves that represent the font itself. Each letter has a certain space for airyness and legibility, while still supporting and following the origami, where the gaps between the curves are used for bending and folding like the origami itself.

BOTANICAL GARDEN LIBEREC

The Botanical Garden in Liberec is the oldest in the Czech Republic and now is over 120 years old. Its long history gives a sound base for reliability and quality, but mere conservation of the heritage left by previous generations of gardeners in the form of plant colllections and traditions is not enough.

A botanical garden which wishes to be a prestigious institution, must be perminent in the scientific world while simultaneously inspiring ideas in the form and style of the art of gardening.

The Botanica font is made for Botanical garden in Liberec and aims to explain the beauty of the imperfection of perfect natural structures. The font works with gradient green motive and discontinuous lines and the font comes in three modifications. With the original font, there are also two distorted versions coming along.

MEOW WOLF MUSEUM OF PSYCHEDELIC „Unique, immersive art installations with multimedia elements and a mysterious narrative throughout. Site of House of Eternal Return, a mind-bending, interactive, explorable art experience for people of all ages.“

My intention was to create a font inspired by the museum‘s exposition but also by psychedelic art. The font can also be used in black and white, which you can download, but it is primarily advisable to choose a color variant for use, because the font is very playful due to its extensive color. Every letter is illustrated and is intended to be dominant in itself as

well as the exhibitions of the Meow Wolf Museum. From visiting this place, people are amazed and experience something indescribable, as if we were visiting various dimensions, thanks to 70 interactive rooms.

MUSEUM OF FUTURE

As well as providing a permanent home for the many innovations, the Museum of the Future claims to work to stimulate and incubate solutions to the challenges of future cities. It will bring together researchers, designers, inventors and financiers under one roof. The Museum will be located in the Emirates Towers area near Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai, and is planned to open in 2020 . The museum hosts seven floors of exhibition space.

Experience a hopeful future for all. The Museum of the Future combines elements of exhibition, immersive theatre and themed attraction, inviting you to look beyond the present to the possible.

Four floors of expansive exhibitions will focus on the possible futures of outer space resource development, ecosystems and bioengineering, and health, wellness, and spirituality.

Another floor will be dedicated to showcasing near future technologies which will transform our world

by addressing challenges in areas such as health, water, food, transportation, and energy. The final floor will give children with their own world to explore, and challenges to complete, on their way to becoming “future heroes”. It will also a be place of learning, where you join us in exploring the threats and opportunities shaping our times, and finding solutions for a better future. The Museum of the Future will be a place of tolerance, inviting varied cultural, philosophical, social and spiritual outlooks.
