The Acura PB2 HangermateTM is a state-of-the-art onepiece, heavy duty steel anchor designed for rod hanging applications such as fire protection systems, ventilation systems, cable tray, pipe hanging and many other overhead threaded rod applications.

The one piece design makes it is easy to install and the preferred choice for fast and reliable anchoring which is also fully removable. This anchor is seismically rated and designed to resist structural and nonstructural loading in cracked and uncracked concrete. The patented thread design has been designed for use with standard drill bits, reduces installation torque and enhances productivity.

3 - Select impact wrench and mount the screw anchor head into the hex socket.

4 - Drive the anchor into the hole at least to the minimum required embedment depth and until the head of the anchor comes into contact with the base material.

5 - Screw the threaded rod into the anchor head.

High Performance Anchoring Systems - The Powers Code Compliant range includes the highest performing mechanical and chemical anchoring systems that carry ETA assessment and can be used with confidence to meet National Construction Code (NCC) requirements for safety critical applications.

These ETA assessment reports can be used to design anchors in accordance with AS5216:2018 which is referenced in the National Construction Code (NCC) 2019.
