Cal-Learn Program Making education attainable CAL-LEARN IS: A statewide program for pregnant and parenting teens receiving cash assistance through the CalWORKs program. It is designed to support parenting teens to obtain their high school diploma or GED and take the first step toward reaching their future goals.
SERVICES AND INCENTIVES FINANCIAL • $100 bonuses each quarter for a good school progress report • $500 graduation bonus
CASE MANAGEMENT • Develop and set attainable goals. • Receive child care and transportation support. • Make the most of educational resources: health, nutrition, child development, parenting skills, and family planning.
