ACTION PLAN 1. Essential Action/Research-Based Strategy: Monitoring of IEP’s to ensure accurate implementation Currently, 50% of the students enrolled in the Northern VA Juvenile Detention Center Education program, are those with an IEP. The majority of these students are not ACPS

students, so it is especially important to ensure that the program has accurate information in a timely manner, can communicate the services needed to the education team, and in turn provide world class instruction and social supports to the students.
