1934 Recently members of the Office of Institutional Advancement had an engaging visit with Leon Trotman. Mr. Trotman is believed to be the College’s oldest living graduate.
1958 Rocco Giruzzi recently agreed to return and serve on the Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences Board of Trustees.
1974 Kandyce Daley, former Chair of the Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences Board of Trustees, recently agreed to return and serve on the Board of Trustees.
1975 Owen Holloran of Kinney Drugs, was recently promoted to SVP pharmacy procurement. As SVP pharmacy procurement, Halloran is responsible for overseeing all pharmaceutical purchasing for Kinney Drugs retail, mail-order and institutional pharmacy. Halloran has led the pharmacy purchasing department since 1996 and third-party contracting since 1999. Owen began his career with Kinney Drugs in 1978 as a staff pharmacist, and has served in several management positions, including his recent position of VP professional services. Halloran

serves as a board member on the Kinney Drugs Foundation and the Canton-Potsdam Hospital. “The knowledge and experience of Owen Halloran complement the Kinney Drugs mission of providing the highest-quality pharmacy, health and retail services to the communities we serve,” stated Bridget-ann Hart (ACPHS Class of ’80), president and COO of Kinney Drugs. “We will continue to benefit from his leadership and look forward to his contributions as we continue building our employeeowned company.”
1978 Following graduation from ACPHS, Anne P. Schaad, attended law school in Portland, Maine between 1979 and 1981. In 1982 she began her career with the Maine State Police and retired from her position in 2005. She is currently enjoying retirement and is keeping busy building wooden boats.
1982 Congratulations to Nick Zacharczenko REUNION DDS, MSD, R.Ph. of Albany who won a pair of gold medals at the International Snowshoe Championships held in Lewiston, Maine. Nick won the 100meter and 200-meter sprint races in the advanced masters (50 and over) division. These great achievements complement Nick’s additional athletic pursuits in tennis, personal training, track & field. Nick is also a certified Master Gardener, and enjoys tending to his beloved blueberry bushes as often as he can!

1983 Philip M. Hritcko recently was promoted to Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Connecticut School of Pharmacy.
1984 Marion Morton, VP and Head Transplant Franchise of Novartis U.S. Foundation, recently was named to the Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences Board of Trustees.

Dominick Bizzarro REUNION recently joined InterSystems of Cambridge, Massachusetts as business manager for HealthShare, InterSystems’ platform for health information exchanges. With this new position Dominick will be working with health systems throughout the world.
