INTRODUCTION!! There are some things you might see when you walk into the amazing AMAZON RAINFOREST you might see lots of plants and lots of animals. Some things are the Venus fly trap and the Foxglove and some animals are the Toucan and the Macaw. The Amazon rainforest is located at 0 N and 15 N latitude and 45 W and 75 N longitudes the hemispheres are North, South, and West. Also the continent is South America and the Countries are Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Venezuela, Ecuador, Bolivia, Guyana, Suriname, French, and Guiana. Another thing you need to know is that they are many layers in the rainforest they are EMERGENT LAYER, CANOPY LAYER, UNDERSTORY LAYER, and the FOREST FLOOR. The rainforest is very wet and its get lots of rain and just you let you know if you ever come to the rainforest I would wear rain boots and just to be on the safe side I would bring a rain jacket. Also the CLIMATE is hot and humid. Also one more thing if I were you I would keep my eyes wide open because a lot of animals are CAMOUFLAGE they blend in with their surroundings.

RAINFOREST PLANTS!! One plant you might see in the rainforest is the Foxglove. The foxglove is a very pretty plant it is kind of tall it is sometimes purple and sometimes it is pink, and white. Also the Foxglove HABITAT is the Forest floor which is the very bottom of the forest. It’s PREDATORS are nothing, nothing eat the Foxglove because the Foxglove is poisonous so therefore nothing eats it or whatever eats it will die. Foxglove helps people with heart problem now I know you are thinking well how can the Foxglove help a person with heart problems if the Foxglove is poisonous? Well I am not sure either. Also the Foxglove uses PHOTOSYNTHESIS and it is a PRODUCER and it has FOLIAGE.

VENUS FLY TRAP!!! Another plant you might see if you go to the rainforest is the Venus fly trap. The Venus fly trap is not a pretty plant it is just plan green and it has spikes on the side and it is very fat and sometimes has flies in it. Also its HABITAT is the forest floor which is the very bottom floor so they can grow and get water. Its PREDATORS is nothing, nothing eats the Venus fly trap because the Venus fly trap has spikes on it and it eats bugs. It’s very helpful to people by keeping bugs out of your house so therefore if you have problems with flies or bugs in your house you should think about getting the Venus fly trap to keep the flies out.

TOUCAN!!! The toucan is one of the prettiest bird in the rainforest it is very colorful and it has a long month. A toucans HABITAT is the EMERGENT LAYER which is the highest part of the rainforest and its surroundings are the tree tops. Toucans PREDATORS are humans, big cats, and its worst enemy the Jaguar. It’s PREY is fruit, bird eggs, insects, rodents, and reptiles and also the toucans is an OMNIVORE. The Toucans ADAPTATION is to use their bill to eat things that are closed so it can open it with its bill. Also when the toucan dies the DECOMPOSERS come and eat it.

MACAW!!!

The macaw is one of the prettiest also it is a big bird and it has a long tail and it has a very funny looking bill. Its HABITAT is the EMERGENT LAYER which is the highest part the Macaws surroundings are the top of the trees. Some of the PREDATORS are Eagle, Jaguar, snakes, and Monkeys. Its PREY is nuts, fruits, and seeds and the Macaw is a HERBIRVORE. The Macaws ADAPTATIONS are its bill to open the nuts and seeds.

YANOMAMI TRIBE!!! The YANOMAMI tribe is a fairly large tribe and very different tribe. They live in a house that can hold up to 4,000 people in them so therefore their home or houses have to be kind of big to fit 4,000 people in them. There village is set up like large circular communal houses which looks very cool. They use house for shelter just like we do. They use trees from the rainforest to make different things like canoes to get across creeks and lakes. Their CULTURE is very different from ours they eat wild monkey they are also NOMADIC.

KAYOPA!! The KAYOPA tribe is also a very different tribe as well. They live in villages, their village is set up is almost like the Yanomami tribe their houses form a circle. They use thatched roof huts for shelter and they do not have room division the roof is made of leaves. With all the rubber they make gloves and they use trees to make cones. Their CULTURE is all about singing and dancing that is because singing and dancing is important to them and their CULTURE.

HOW TO SAVE THE RAINFOREST!!! Here are some things you could do to help SAVE the rainforest…

1. NOT CUT DOWN TREES because trees give us oxygen and if we cut them down we are just closing oxygen. 2. DO NOT LITTER because when you do you could be hurting the animals or plants and that is not good for them. 3. This goes with number 1 DO NOT DEFORESTATION. 4. ALWAYS CONSERVE we need to our Amazon rainforest not mess it

save up.

5. When you go to the rainforest you should think about ECOTOURISM and keep your hands and feet to yourself.
