It was becoming dusk. The South Western hemisphere of the Amazon. The degreesof Latitude range: 0 degreesand 15 degreesSouth. Longitude Range: 45 to 75 degreesWest. Regions of the Rainforest are Suriname, French Gurianna, Guyanna, Brazil, Bolivia, Peru, Venezuela, Colombia and Ecuador. The average rainfall of the Rainforest is 80 inches. The average is 79 degreesFahrenheit. Its Climate Zone is warm and humid. Trees were chopped using deforestation destroying habitats, homes were ruined. The lives of the Rainforest were disappearing. Many organisms were disturbed. The environment affects people by using electromagnetic radiation. Many people use products like Brazil Nuts, Minerals and Natural Rubber from the Rainforest. The Anaconda a huge snake bigger than others slid out from under the rock. He wrapped around a dead snake now his prey. This was one of his adaptations. The Anaconda watched for a human so he wouldn’t be killed by a predator. He slid toward his habitat a calm pool. “Where are the trees?Where are the animals?” Moments later the Piranha, which is a fish with large sharp teeth or fangs, shot out from beneath the calm water. While he was above the water he made sure his predators, the amazon dolphins, crocodiles and herons wouldn’t attack him. The Piranha quickly dived back underwater and sped back to the top using one of his best adaptations. “The humans came and destroyed more homes.” The Anaconda chimed “These humans don’t leave us alone. How are we going to EVERstop these creatures?” The animals wanted to help conserve and save their homes and the Rainforest. Or other words save the Rainforest from being destroyed.

The Piranha sat on top of the water and thought. “I have an idea,” the Piranha said. “What, issssssthe idea Piranha?” hissed the Anaconda. “We shall call all the animals of the Rainforest and destroy the humans.” The Anaconda slithered on the ground, “Great I ssssshhhall retrieve the animals in the Forest Floor and the Understory Layer. You get the top 3rd layer (Canopy Layer) and get the Toucan to get the Emergent layer.” 7

Meanwhile all the plants were sitting in the sun. The Anaconda slid toward the Venus Fly Trap a huge plant with leaf fangs and a huge stem using his jaws to attack his prey, bugs or insects. Its predators are spiders and other bugs. The habitat of this creature are swampy areas. The Anaconda slowly reached the Corkscrew Plant a five leafed clover having special adaptations. It’s habitat is moist areas. The predators of it were bugs. “The humansssare back and they are ruining more homes and it’s about time we started our GamePlan.” The piranha swam quickly up stream and screamed the GamePlan to every animal that passed. Then he reached the Toucan. “T-T-Tell all the other animals to make sure the Humans don’t attack their habitat. Then the Piranha floated downstream. Meanwhile a human was walking along the river and found the Piranha and captured it…

The Anaconda waited under a waterfall. He tried to camouflage with his surroundings. Yet the Piranha never came. Instead a young man walked by and grabbed the Anaconda. Then the Anaconda wrapped itself around the man and squeezed till he couldn’t breathe anymore. The predator stayed motionless underwater. The Anaconda pulled the man underwater so the other men wouldn’t come looking for him. The Toucan flew high above the trees screeching the plans to the other birds. Yet was grabbed by the wings and took to the camp. The other birds flew below the trees to warn the Anaconda about this terrible disappearance.

The Sloth sat in a little bag hanging between 2 trees you could hardly see, watching all this happen. Yet nobody had recognized they had to also collaborate with him. Meanwhile the Anaconda slid up a tree while the other birds landed on every single branch. A Parrot landed on the last branch. “Bwwwaakk! T-T-T-Toucan captured, captured, yes captured.” The Anaconda hissed, “Man losssst, yesss

lost.” The Sloth watched the Piranha and the Toucan get taken to the Tribal Camp. “Have you brought us some food,” the Captain asked, “Tomorrow be ready the animals are making traps.” “Yes, I have brought food for our culture celebration and am prepared.” “Food,” panicked the Sloth. “They are going to come back for everyone else!” All the other animals started making traps to keep the humans from destroying their homes. Many tried hiding in the foliage of the trees. Yet all the other animals started thinking of their adaptations, how they would help save their own lives. The climate in the Rainforest was very hot and all the humans began to sweat. The humans began to get closer to the traps. The omnivores, carnivores, and herbivores all hid behind trees for the ambush. Then the animals pounced out of hiding, knocking the Humans off-guard. But the animals landed in their own trap. 2 nets had fallen from the trees. Both nets came from their

own trap. Will anyone SAVEthese creatures lives?????

The animals sat miserably in their nets. “How are we going to get out??” asked the other animals. “We’ll find a way I’m sure of it, I hope,” moaned the Anaconda. “We’re going to DIE!” screamed the animals, “and it’s all of your fault,” they cried. Meanwhile the Humans traveled back to the Tribe nomadic. They travel by private planes or just walking. The decomposers were getting a little antsy and started feeding off the dead animals that didn’t survive. Finally they reached the Tribe. A boiling fire had started and there were enough cages for all the animals. Meanwhile… The Sloth watched all the animals get tossed into the cages. He looked at the scattered villages and the city celebrating their culture.By decorating, parties, and activities. People sleeping in Malocas. People building new houseswith branches and leaves and also feathers. The Sloth decided he was their only chance to help the humans become eco-tourists tourists that don’t damage the Rainforest and save the animals. So he slowly climbed from one tree to another. Yet the other animals sat in their cageswith suspensewaiting for their hero and who would save their lives… The Sloth reached another Tribe not recognizing until he saw the way they lived. They lived in a highland forest of Papua New Gurea. The humans lived in long housesthat separated the men and women from each other. They use clay, feathers, and many others. They hunted and killed animals and wore their fur for clothes. The Sloth slowly walked in the forest but something wrapped around 10

his ankle and yanked him upside down. A Venus Fly Trap rose behind a few bushes. “Everybody thinks I’m a producer (produces its own food) but I’m a consumer.” The Sloth gripped his ankle trying to slide it through the grip. “Wait, where is all the other animals?” “They are above the two rocks and over the hill.” “Thanks,” replied the Sloth. After midnight the Sloth crept through town and searched for the others. The Sloth was being indigenous to this tribe (existing naturally). Finally he reached the animals and slipped his toe in each lock. Moments later the animals raced

back to their habitats.

No more trees were destroyed so they could keep producing photosynthesis and oxygen for the Rainforest. Ever since then the Humans have been very cautious with animals.

11

The Rainforest used to be bigger than we know, but it was deforestated. Maybe if we stop destroying habitats and trees we can save lives and keep the animals from becoming extinct.
