Classical music organization marking its 120th Weekly anniversary Super Savings!

BY MIKE HANKS • SUN NEWSPAPERS It’s not unusual for Jack Purcell to get behind the wheel of his 1992 Ford Escort and push the bright orange relic of a bygone era to speeds approaching 80 mph. It’s a car that wouldn’t typically impress his classmates at Jefferson High School, but Purcell’s Escort is not the typical rust bucket one might imagine when picturing a car that is two decades old. Purcell is more than two months away from his 16th birthday, but that hasn’t stopped him from getting behind the wheel of his Escort on a weekly basis. Sans license, however, Purcell and his Escort stick to the oval racetracks in Shakopee and Elko New Market, where he races in the entry-level class on Saturday and Sunday nights. And in his second year he’s
