Electric motors are an essential part of most large operations. They are used to create current that can be connected to a power grid or to directly fuel other machinery. This converts electronic power into mechanical power.
They come in a variety of types and the kind that you use depends on what you need it for. The basic parts are the rotor and the stator. The rotor is the moving part and the stator is the stationery part of it. These two items create the basis for it.
Most motors are magnetic in nature. Both the rotor and the stator produce a magnetic field which creates a torque, or pressure on the motor shaft and creates the rotation of the motor. This is how it operates.
