Why is an acetate grid useful?

USING AN ACETATE GRID An acetate grid is extremely useful for accurately pinpointing problem areas.

The grid is placed on top of a right and left photograph and areas requiring attention can be marked with a highlighter.

After the problem areas are noted the grid can be placed over the iris chart and an accurate interpretation carried out.

Grids are also invaluable if using slides on a screen for interpretation.

The grid can be projected on a screen over the iris slide.

Screens can also be imprinted with the grid and the iris slide superimposed over the top.
