About This Report This report is designed to help families and communities better understand student performance in middle schools. Washington County Middle School's goal is that all students master the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in a challenging and relevant course of study in high school. This report shows how well students in our school are meeting benchmarks that are important for them to be ready to succeed in later grade levels.
It also shows how Washington County Middle students are performing as compared to other schools, the district, and the state. Some of this information is new to families and the community. For help learning more about how to understand and use this report, please visit www.cn.gov/CCRreports or contact Mr. Franklin Thomason at 555-1234 or fthomason@ washingtoncomiddle.org.
Washington County Middle School Student Progress on High School Readiness Research from Constitution State University shows that course success in 6th grade, 8th grade science assessment performance, and grades of "C" or higher in 8th grade mathematics have strong connections to student preparation for high school. Therefore, we highlighted these indicators here. This report also gives feedback on how last year's 8th grade students at our school did in important courses once they entered high school.
