On behalf of the Board of Directors, staff and volunteers of the American Club Foundation (ACF), we extend a warm welcome to our Second Annual Gala, "Helping Hong Kong Bloom." We hope you have a wonderful time at tonight's event and thank youforyoursupport!

The American Club has a long history of assisting local Hong Kong charities. In 2017, members of the American Club Board of Governors and the community decided to focustheClub'sresourcestomakeapositiveimpactonthelivesofthevulnerableinour city. This initiative led to the establishment of the Foundation in 2019, with a mission to createacaring,sustainableandequitablecityforallHongKongresidents.

With the support of our community, we have achieved significant milestones in just four years. Together, we have mobilized 1500 volunteers, organized over 100 events, assisted 13,000 individuals in need, collaborated with 50 charities and raised HK$13 million.

The ACF also collaborates on local partnerships to address issues like homelessness, food insecurity, skills development for disadvantaged communities, education and enrichment for underprivileged youth and environmental conservation for the benefit of all. By hosting networking and educational events, we connect our communities with our partner charities, fostering awareness and understanding of the important work theydoandourjointinitiatives.

Tonight, we are fundraising to support the ACF's selected grantee charities for 2024 that focus on underprivileged youth, disadvantaged communities and environmental sustainability. This is one of two key events that we hold each year to raise funds for our charity partners and to highlight the important work they do in our community.

Our goal tonight is to raise funds for the ACF's Grants+ Program that supports the beneficiaries of our 2024 charitable giving: A Plastic Ocean Foundation, Changing Young Lives Foundation and Splash Foundation.
