This will make it extremely challenging in readily identifying and dealing with threats.

This aside, I strongly believe that the greatest threat in the near future will come from within. It is not all sad and gloom though, the government can do a better job of dealing with the threats by taking on a consultative approach. The fight against terrorism can be turned from one of ‘us versus them’ to being about the safety of humanity as a whole. Differences in religious beliefs and ideals should be tolerated and not frowned upon. Another viable approach is to do a better job to sensitize the community of nations through such organizations as the United Nations Security Council so that terrorism is not just seen as an American problem, but a global one.
