THE SECRET OF THE ACC CARE CENTER WAY For 32 years, children, women and men have visited the ACC Care Center, coming away with admiration and gratitude for the care their loved ones have received and the responsive attention to their specific family needs and requests. How does an operation with 115 staff maintain a track record of this kind of success? “We all want to end up here.” The secret to the ACC Care Center success starts with leadership and extends all the way to the most recent hire on the nursing, maintenance, activities or culinary teams. Care Center Administrator Melanie Segar joined ACC seven years ago with the goal of continuing the legacy of excellence our founding families envisioned. She was elected to the board of the California Association of Health Facilities (CAHF) in 2015 and is now in her second term as the Non-Profit Conference Chair. She feels that it is very important, especially as a single facility provider, to have representation on the state

and national level. “Being on the board of CAHF gives us the opportunity to stay current on what is happening in the post-acute and long term care industry. of caring is reflected by systems that reduce institutional care and target individualized care for all residents/ patients, regardless of length of stay, care conditions, or family history. JOIN US FOR A FUN DAY OF GOLF ON MAY 10, 2018

On Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 8:00am, ACC Senior Services will host the 12th Annual Golf Tournament at Teal Bend Golf Club. There will be tee and raffle prizes, an awards ceremony, and a delicious luncheon included with registration. The registration fee for a foursome is $500, or $125 per individual player. There are also opportunities to support this event through sponsorships and in-kind donations. The deadline for player and sponsorship registration is Friday, April 20, 2018.
