Hey! We are the fotobus society,
more than 807 photography and media students from 35 universities all over the world. We operate a 30 year old blue tour bus driven by Christoph Bangert. We go on excursions together, visiting photography festivals, conferences and workshops—and show our works in and around the bus. Basically, we are making friends and memories while studying, like a photo school on wheels. Being a member of the fotobus is free for students. This is made possible by sponsors and supporting members. Thank you for helping the fotobus by picking up this copy of further, our annual publication. further is made independently by our student members from the publication team. Together, we learn to make books from conceptualizing the idea to sharing our result. This is a humbling, exhausting and incredibly rewarding experience that would not be possible without the trust of our fellow student members.

The pandemic made 2020 an especially challenging time for people with mental illness. Increased social isolation often intensified the course of the diseases and long waiting lists for therapies found professional help far away. Elena and Mia found their own way to support Mia with her Anorexia nervosa in these trying times.
