“A couple of years ago, my family and I went through a season of experiencing homelessness. I couldn’t provide for my baby boys like I really wanted to as far as their birthdays and holidays. Those were times when I started to feel depressed because I couldn’t buy any of my children just one outfit or pair of shoes. With RATL being a part of our life, they provided gifts that included toys, clothes, shoes, winter items, and school supplies! My heart was so full of joy and gratitude for this gift that RATL provided for my family. I could not say thank you enough. It felt so wonderful to see smiles on my sons’ faces!”

OUR WHY

Children in homelessness have a graduation rate of 24%, while those with stable housing have a graduation rate of 90%.

Aceonna and her family moved out of a residential shelter and into their own apartment and have now been in stable housing for over a year. Aceonna continues to attend weekly RATL Bible Study and attends RATL Family Events with her boys! We are grateful to know you, Ace!

Children in homelessness have twice the rate of learning disabilities and three times the rate of emotional and behavioral problems of non-homeless children.

In Georgia, one in five children grow up in poverty and one in four children live in a family where no parent has full-time, year-round employment.

RATL believes meeting physical needs is valuable, but service always goes beyond the physical. This is why we come alongside community organizations to provide resources and a place for families to be seen, known, and loved.

PROGRAMS R AT L A f t e r S c h o o l Our after school program supports mothers who are working towards self-sustainability. It is a safe, structured, and nurturing environment in which students learn and grow. Students receive homework assistance, Biblical programming, character development, and recreational time that allows them to learn, play, and grow beyond the classroom.

R AT L S u m m e r C a m p During the summer months, we offer 11 weeks of academic support, recreational games, Bible lessons, and team building for kids. These services enable mothers to gain and retain employment while their children are in a safe and nurturing environment.

R AT L F a m i l y P r o g r a m s We desire to create spaces for women and their children to experience spiritual restoration and wholeness with Christ and one another. Families gather together to fellowship and dive into the truth of Scripture through conversation, family events, and oneon-one Biblical life coaching.

$150 sponsors one RATL Family Event for up to 20 RATL Moms and their children.

$1,500 provides a full year

of after school and summer camp programs for one child.

$3,623 provides one week of RATL Summer Camp in two locations for up to 80 children.
