Accion - Network and Partners REGULATED INSTITUTIONS - ACTIVE BORROWERS AND PORTFOLIO

* During 2016, Regulated Institutions experienced an active borrowers decrease of 299,708 (6%); In absolute terms, Banco Popular / Honduras was the institution in this group that experienced the highest increase during this period with 12,121 clients (56%). Furthermore, this group also increased its active portfolio by $304.04 million (4%) and Sogesol / Haiti was the institution in the group that increased the most in this variable: 6.7 million (39%). The decrease in active customers in one year was due in large part to the write-offs made in the year by entities located in Mexico, Peru and Ecuador. This issue has resulted in a smaller borrowers amount reflected.


Accion - Network and Partners NGO’s - ACTIVE BORROWERS AND PORTFOLIO

* At the end of 2016, the NGO’s group increased the active borrowers by 8,170 (4.5%). In absolute terms, Genesis Empresarial in Guatemala experienced the highest growth, with 7,777 active borrowers (8.7%). As far as active portfolio, this group increased US$19.1 million (17.5%). Both companies which presented 2016 figures showed growths as of 20% over Total Active Portfolio.


Accion - Network and Partners AFRICA AND ASIA PARTNERS - ACTIVE BORROWERS AND PORTFOLIO

* At the end of 2016, Partners in Africa and Asia group recorded an increase of 137,600 borrowers (15.8%). In absolute terms, Swadhaar in India experienced the highest increase, with 59,247 additional clients. As far as active portfolio, this group reflected an increase of US$104.6 million (27%). And also, Swadhaar in India was the institution of the group that recorded the growth in this variable: US$35.7 million. Africa region has decreased in terms of Active Borrower in a 4,5%. Write offs produced were as of 4% in average.

The group of Regulated Institutions experienced an growth in its portfolio at risk (1.78 points), and its indicator is 0.07 points above to the weighted average of all institutions.

The group of NGOs showed a disminution by 0.04 points during this period. It remains below the weighted average of the total portfolio at risk by 2.86 points.

The group of partners in Africa and Asia decreased its portfolio at risk by 1.15 points and it remains below the weighted average.
