method of collaborative learning. The teacher will guide them in collaborative and individual projects based on the children’s interests. Children will learn about the artistic mediums and their own creativity by experiencing the material world around them. KID CRAFTERNOONS WITH CATHERINE CROSS TSINTZOS - Mar 16 and April 20 - Ages 6-12. Embracing the spirit of DIY “design it” yourself, children will learn basic design priciples, and hands on art methods while receiving some teacher direction for crafty creativity. FAMILY ART NIGHT WITH CATHERINE CROSS TSINTZOS - Mar 16 and Apr 20 - Parents and kids welcome. Family art get together for dinner, art and a movie about the “Artist of the Night”. The “Artist of the Night” will be based on a contemporary artist chosen by the instructor. Hands on fun together so each artist in the family may take home a creation basedon the methods of

that artist. Price includes pizza and a drink. Families may bring their own drinks or other snacks. This is an opportunity for families to create together. GRAFF-STREET ART WITH CATHERINE CROSS TSINTZOS - Mar 17 and Apr 21 Ages 10-16. Explore the elements of Graffiti style, sketching walls, bricks to pixels, tape art, history and use of tools. An Upside Down Cake Birthday Party, Jeanne Hansen and enjoy a special Bunny Birthday Party story time at the Tarpon Springs Public Library on Tuesday, March 27th at 3:00 p.m. Author, Jeanne Hansen will read from her book, Wow! An Upside Down Cake Birthday Party, followed by a special bunny craft and light refreshments. Copies of the book will also be available for sale and signing. 29TH ANNUAL TINY TOT OLYMPICS - March 28 Tiny Tots is a social/recreation program held during the school year for ages 3-5 that helps prepare the kids for pre-

school. The Hillsborough County Parks, Recreation and Conservation Department will host the 29th Annual Tiny Tot Olympics, Wednesday, March 28, from 10 a.m. – noon, at Lettuce Lake Park, 6920 Fletcher Ave., just east of the Hillsborough River. The event features approximately 200 3-5 year olds currently enrolled in the PRC Tiny Tot program. Participants will compete in events such as the basketball toss, bean bag toss, bucket relay, football throw, hula hoop relay, obstacle course, parachute games, sack race and soccer dribble. Scores are not kept and all participants receive ribbons. Everyone is a winner at these games. For more information, call 813.672.1120
