Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering
Course Code: EEE111L
Course Title: Analog
Experiment name: The Input-Output characteristics of CE (common emitter) configuration of BJT.
Objectives:
● Study of the input-output characteristics of CE (common emitter) configuration of BJT.
Apparatus:
● Transistor (2N2222A)
●Resistor(100KΩ,1KΩ)
● Trainer Board
●DC powersupply
● Digital Multimeter
●Chordsandwire
Theory:
A transistor has three doped regions which are emitter, base, collector. In a transistor where the emitter is connected to both base and collector, we call it a common emitter transistor configuration. In common emitting transistors configuration input is taken from both emitter and base and the output is taken from the emitter and collector. There are three different currents in a transistor. They are emitter current, collector current and the base current. Emitte
