3. Discuss briefly any sources of error.

There was opportunity for a lot of error in this lab. The first one can be from the height taken each time we turned the pump on. The height can be off because we did not have a stand to hold in place but a person whose body can be tired from holding it too long.

Second can be from the timer since we rely on a person on saying “go” and “stop” it cannot me perfectly timed. The watch can be delayed a few milliseconds from that alone.

Lastly, the beaker if not level can be over or just under the 1000 mL mark. Which can mess the timer too because it can be actually later or earlier than it really supposed to be.
