ABOUT THE PROGRAM:
As we move into our 6th season as Base Knox 2014 our philosophy remains the same: to trust the process of development and know that positive results will follow. We will continue to focus on developing the athletes’ fundamentals along with helping them learn and understand the game. At this age, we want all of our girls to have a strong softball foundation and to learn multiple positions.
Additionally, we strongly believe in teaching young athletes mental toughness and how to work through adversity.
OUR COACHING PHILOSOPHY:
Outwork everyone in silence, Practice when others aren’t watching. This is what our team will be based on.
It’s not just about softball, it is about developing work ethic and commitment.
Winning should not be the ultimate goal for 9 and 10 year old softball players. We want to develop basic skills that can build the foundation for long softball careers.
The process is more important than the results.
