Rami Alahmar Graduate

Born in Syria into a family that cherished knowledge, Rami Khalil Alahmar initially pursued a career in dentistry, graduating from dental school in Syria. He has been practicing in Abu Dhabi for over 15 years.

Rami′s passion for music and the arts emerged early in life. He began teaching himself to play the oud, though the limited availability of resources made it a challenging pursuit. Drawn to the beauty and complexity of the violin’s sound, Rami decided to formally study the instrument under the guidance of an experienced teacher. Despite facing several challenges during his training, his determination to master the violin never wavered.

Rami’s musical journey took a significant turn when he discovered Bait Al Oud Abu Dhabi, founded by the legendary musician Naseer Shamma. He enrolled in violin studies under the instruction of head instructor Ali Dridi, where he received structured and comprehensive education.

In a short time, Rami developed the ability to perform diverse pieces from various musical traditions, including classical, romantic, and modern genres. His experience as a musician expanded beyond solo performances to include collaborations with musical groups, orchestras, and participation in events at Bait Al Oud. These opportunities allowed him to exchange ideas and experiences with others, each adding new dimensions to his skills and inspiration, deepening his appreciation for the profound beauty of the music he encountered daily.
