but for me I could not resist the cocktail of the week; 'The Gorge' which seemed rather appropriate after my delicious feast. This divine cocktail was a concoction of burnt pineapple, cider purée, tamarind syrup with smokey pasilla chilli, infused with montelobos mezcal and all topped off with a guajillo chilli rim..... Try repeating that after you've had one!! The prices are incredibly reasonable and it is evident that a lot of time and effort has been invested into creating the most genuine Mexican experience this side of the world. It is the best way of illuminating those seasonal blues and providing an escape to recharge. La Choza or is continuing to take the foodies of Brighton by storm and whilst it has only been five years since they exploded onto the scene, I can completely understand why there is such a cult following; a cult which I plan to join as I am always one for an exotic fiesta and feast. This buzzy urban hotspot will certainly be helping me to get through the 'chili' winter months ahead.
