I can understand why this restaurant has been recognised for excellence in the cooking and serving of fish. However, after I finally persuaded my husband to share, I must confess the fillet steak was superb and beat my all-time South African winner – a feat I never thought would happen in the UK! After such a beautifully plated selection from the A La Carte menu I didn’t think I would have room for dessert. That was until I discovered the Espresso Martini Sabayon. The Italian Stracciatella ice cream with flakes of chocolate and almond biscotti was sensational and surprisingly light after such an ample two courses.

So, for an after-work bite with colleagues, or following a busy afternoon of shopping. This is the perfect stop to enjoy a fabulous and fairly priced meal. A great introduction to The Jetty, sure to appeal to the city sophisticates! Brighton is where the sea meets the city and the perfect place for relaxed culinary delights such as this.
