STEVE McQUEEN This season the Barbour Steve McQueen™ collection has focused on the spirit of competition behind the racing. Everyone knew Steve McQueen as the ultimate American film star, but off screen he loved to race motorcycles. ‘Licence to Race’ explores the actors love of racing – so much so that he got himself a licence so that he could indulge in the competitive and tough International Six Day Trials - it also looks at the clothing he wore, particularly his Barbour jacket. For the Autumn Winter, his favourite style of jacket – the International – has been given a make-over and worked into a quilted style. T-shirts feature previously un-seen images of the actor in action; they are a tribute to Steve McQueen!

Since the 1930’s Barbour have been producing motorcycle clothing, from what started out as riding suits to the modern day must have fashion piece for both men and women. Like for like For the Autumn Winter season Barbour have created two of their stand out pieces from the International Collection in both a waxed and quilted version; meaning you get to choose!

INTERNATIONAL WOMEN

A waxed jacket offers the wearer a weatherproof outer garment, both the Matlock and the Speedway Jacket are in a medium 6oz wax, which offers the wearer substantial protection without being too bulky and overbearing. A quilted jacket is a fashion statement, a symbol that you are right on trend. The Speedway and the Matlock Quilt are the perfect, lightweight yet warm, accompaniment for an evening out – they look great worn with a pair of skinny jeans and killer shoes!

We love the warm lining and printed inner collar tucked away inside the Matlock; its short belted style projects a glam biker attitude that would stand out in any crowd.

Whilst the Speedway, although not as glam, has a casual effortless cool about it, and it’s longer length makes it a firm favourite in our book.

Please do check size measurements carefully as the most common reason for returns is due to the wrong size initially being ordered – we recommend you use the specific size information on each product page of our website rather than relying on the general size guide.

21 DAY SATISFACTION GUARANTEE If any item you order is unsuitable, simply return it to us within 21 days of receipt in an ‘as-new’ condition with tags attached.

We will happily exchange it (subject to availability) or refund your original purchase price. Please note that items are returned at the customer’s cost, and refunds exclude the initial postage charge.

Please ensure you obtain a Certificate of Posting in case your parcel goes astray as we are unable to process a return until it is received by us. We offer a UK peace of mind returns label for a fixed price of only £2.50.

Claims of damage or pilferage must be notified in writing both to the carriers and the Company within 10 days of delivery and the carrier’s delivery sheet should be noted with the damage or pilferage found.

Claims cannot be accepted outside these time limits. Packaging must be retained for investigation.
