LETTER FROM OUR PRESIDENT THANK YOU! We, the Albuquerque Health Care for the Homeless (AHCH) Board of Directors and staff are proud to share this Report to the Community with you. This report covers two fiscal years from FY2016-2017 and FY2017-2018 and highlights the accomplishments and milestones made possible by YOU, our community of loyal donors who generously give your financial support to enable the mission of AHCH. Three years ago I began a new adventure of owning and operating an organic farm. In doing so, Iâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;ve learned a lot about the complex world of organic and sustainable agriculture. One key principal is: healthy roots yields healthy plants which yield healthy produce. But healthy roots depend on a healthy and balanced soil. That idea got me thinking that you, our donors, are much like the healthy soil and provide the critical foundation that allows Albuquerque Health Care for the Homeless to efficiently and effectively deliver integrated and comprehensive services to its clients. Just like the healthy soil enables a sustainable agriculture system, donors like you enable a sustainable capacity at Albuquerque Health Care for the Homeless to work each day towards our shared vision of ending homelessness. Your generosity is critical to the delivery of services at AHCH and despite the evolving and complex social challenges we face, we remain confident that with the strong foundation that you provide, we will realize our vision of a world that is just and without homelessness.

AHCHâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s operating definition of homelessness includes persons who spent the previous night 1) in an emergency shelter, 2) â&#x20AC;&#x153;on the streetsâ&#x20AC;?
