As Britain closed a year fractured by division, King Charles turned to reconciliation in his Christmas message to issue a quiet but urgent plea: choose reconciliation over resentment, and draw strength from diversity, for unity, not fear, remains the nation’s strongest defence against injustice. “With the great diversity of our communities, we can find the strength to ensure that right triumphs over wrong,” he said.
