Congratulations! Planning your wedding is truly an exciting time! For most people, planning a wedding is the first time they have ever planned an event with so many details. We are delighted that you a re interested in asking our Above the Rest team to make your wedding planning easier. Creating a romantic, beautiful atmosphere for your wedding day is our expertise. Most of all, it is our mission to create moments of relaxation, joy, and smiles for all we serve. Inside this catalog are several samples of draping we have installed at The Standard in Knoxville. It is a good guide to show you the caliber of our professionalism and serve as ins piration for you. We can, of course, create far more than what you see here--just ask! The FAQ page at the back will answer many questions, but you may ask all the quest ions you want--even questions regarding non-decorating aspects of your wedding. Consultation Policy It is our policy to meet with clients in person to learn about your vision for your wedding. Rachel Glandon, CBA, is our wedding consultant who will meet with you. We offer a one-time complimentary initial consultation for in-town venues. A minimum travel fee of $125 is required in advance for all out of town consultations. At the end of the initial consultation, if you want us to proceed with design plans for your wedding, a $250 non-refundable design fee is due. This applies toward your order. Rachel follow up with you to finalize your decor. For out of town clients, we are happy to do email & phone consultations.

Luxurious Ceilings
One of the most popular draping treatments at The Standard is to drape white or ivory sheer fabric from the steel beams. This treatment alone transforms the entire large room into a very romantic feel. Ceiling draping in 416 room (large) starts at $547

Luxurious Ceilings Ceiling draping can be done with 2 or 3 sections in the 416 room and goes in between the bistro lights. In the 412 room, most people drape over both sides of the seating, but some do one panel in the center (which is a bit off center due to the building structure)

Sophisticated Ceremonies The addition of ceiling and wall draping in the 412 room (small) at The Standard combines a soft romantic and hard industrial look to create a perfect ceremony site for your wedding . Ceiling draping is also available in the 412 room. Starts at $125

At The Standard, ceremonies can take place downstairs or upstairs. The top photo was taken upstairs which allowed for a brick backdrop softened by ivory sheer.

Sophisticated Ceremonies These photos are in the 412 room. Left photo has a peaked design which matches the architecture and is good for people who don't want to have fabric reach the ceiling. Wall is 15' wide. Below: This is a 10' wide wall with twinkle lights behind it. An overlay of matchin fabric was pulled back to create a beautiful ceremony backdrop.
In stock fabric colors are white, ivory, khaki, gray, and pink. Custom colors available upon request for additional fee. Perfect ways to embellish your decor is with twinkle lights, greenery, crystal beads and hanging voitive candles which are all available for rental.

FAQ's & Helpful Answers How do we know what to order for our event? That's EASY! Just complete the Event Inquiry form on our website or call. We will ask you several questions about your event, the venue, your event's goal, vision, and budget. Next, at consultation, we listen carefully and then provide our expert advice and direction to best serve you.
What is the Delivery/Set up Service Fee? Delivery & Set up service of all fabric draping at your venue. Pricing is determined by location, access to the venue, time of delivery, and the amount of decor being installed. Delivery begins at $125. Early morning and late night service is Premium Service, resulting in higher service fee.
What is the Breakdown/Strike Service Fee? We carefully remove all decor we installed, including moving heavy base plates, poles, and foldi all fabrics. AAAH relaxing for you! Pricing is determined by location, access to the venue, time of breakdown, and the amount of decor being removed. Breakdown begins at $125. Early morning and late night service is Premium Service, resulting in higher service fee. We are closed on Sunday and in rare occasions provide Premium Sunday Service.
May we do the Breakdown Ourselves? Sorry, no. For fabric draping, we provide breakdown service to insure that all fabrics are clean, undamaged, and put away properly. Draping typically involves a lot of ladder work and heavy lifting. We do all this for you because you want to relax after your event, not fold yards and yards of fabric. Right?
What is the payment policy for fabric draping? $250 non-refundable Design Fee is due at end of first consultation if you want us to proceed with designing for your event. Design Pricing is good for 7 days after your receipt. 50% down payment of ordered decor is due within 7 days after order is finalized. Remaining balance due 30 days prior to event. Quarterly payment plans are available for additional fee. 3.5% card processing service added for all card use. (card use optional)
Is there a damage deposit? Yes. For all outside draping service, a minimum of a $350 damage deposit is taken up front. Check or card number is held until after event. If no damage occurs, these are shredded.
