We hope you’re ready for summer, because we certainly are! This summer we are excited to open back up and provide all the fun activities Abilene knows and loves. We have all five of our splash pads open located in the following parks: Nelson, Sears, Scarborough, Stevenson, and Redbud.

We are excited Adventure Cove will be opening on May 29, the start of Memorial Day weekend! Dive-In movies are scheduled along with other fun treats. Remember the pavilion or after hour rentals are available.

We can’t forget about all the other fun things happening in Parks and Recreation, such as our summer camps, Abilene Outdoor Adventures, Mother & Son Dance, Movies in the Park, and Parks and Rec Month. It’s the prime time to get up, get active, and discover your next Adventure here in Abilene!
