Kelsey Davis Senior (Wall, Texas)

Business management major, psychology minor

At my last school, professors didn’t end class telling us that if we ever had a problem or needed to talk about our faith, to come by their office any time. The professors here really care to get to know me – my interests, where I grew up, what activities I’m involved in, where I go to church.”

Sarah Greer (’11) (Spring, Texas) English major

I transferred from a larger university and didn’t get to have one-on-one time with my professors. At ACU, you not only learn from professors’ class discussions, but also you get to know them personally. Professors here take the time to help you grow and understand everything – even if that means cutting into their lunch breaks or sending you an email from home.”

Lance Barrow (’77)

Emmy award-winning CBS Sports producer and 2008 Outstanding Alumnus of the Year

I attended a large state university my freshman year. There were a lot of classes where I never saw the professor. But not at Abilene Christian.

Professors at ACU were always there for me, helping me with everything from career advice to personal matters. The spiritual atmosphere at ACU is something I really didn’t appreciate until I left. The opportunity to focus on God in all aspects of daily life is great preparation for what the world throws at you once you graduate.”
