INFORMATION FOR MEMBERS All members are subject to the Rules of the Aberdovey Golf Club

Online Tee Reservations: Access BRS “Book a Tee Time” through the Club website www.aberdoveygolf.co.uk or the Club Hub. Playing Members can reserve tee times for up to 90 days in advance for casual golf, and up to 30 days in advance for Club Competitions.

If you have not yet registered for this, follow the on screen instructions or help information. Your USERNAME is your 4-digit membership number.

Members’ Club Hub: Please ensure that you register for the Members’ Club Hub as this contains everything you need to know about your golf, your club accounts, news items and important Club documents.

To register, go to the members page on the Club website [www.aberdoveygolf.co.uk] and follow the link; or download the ‘ClubV1 members hub’ app from your normal provider.

Please note that you must have a unique email address and not one shared with any other member.

World Handicap System If Aberdovey is your home club for handicap purposes, in order to access your handicap record you will need to register with Wales Golf. Please go to: https://members.clubhouse.walesgolf.org and follow the onscreen instructions.

Guests: Playing members may on any one day, invite up to 3 bona fide guests to play with them on payment of a members guests rate green fee. No individual guest may play the course more than 5 times in any one calendar year, and all guests must play the course in the company of the member so introducing them.

LADIES/JUNIORS Wales Golf Tournaments: When the course is closed for Wales Golf tournaments, the Club endeavours to arrange courtesy golf at other clubs which will be communicated at the time.

The Association of James Braid Courses: AGC and is a member of this Association; members benefit from reduced rate green fees at over 290 association courses. There is a list of member courses on the Club Hub. Reciprocal Agreements: Members can currently benefit from ongoing reciprocal arrangements with the following clubs. Please note that tee-times must be booked in advance and proof of membership of AGC (e.g. handicap certificate) will be required.

Clubs will charge the appropriate members’ guest or reciprocal green fee rate and will only accept bookings Monday to Friday. (excluding bank holidays). Please check arrangements with the club when booking.

MEN/GENERAL Dress Standards: On the course Members and their guests should wear accepted golf attire, SOFT SPIKES are mandatory at all times. In the Clubhouse a smart standard of casual dress is required, beachwear is not permitted. Jacket and tie, or the equivalent for ladies, is expected when the occasion/function demands. Hats should be removed in the bar, lounge and dining area.

Dogs: Competitors in Club competitions or matches may not take dogs with them whilst playing. Out of courtesy to players, spectators following games are also requested not to take dogs with them. Dogs, other than guide dogs, are not allowed in the clubhouse.

ALL DOGS MUST BE KEPT ON LEADS AT ALL TIMES

Alternative Starting Places: Members and visitors who have paid a green fee may not commence play at any hole other than the first hole without the express permission of the Pro’s Shop Staff or the Manager.

Players playing a 9-hole round must play the 15th hole from the red/ yellow marker to the right of the 5th fairway. The playing of 9 holes is at the discretion of the Pro’s Shop Staff or Manager and will not be permitted during busy periods.

Course Priority - Slow Play: At all times three-ball and four-ball games must invite a two-ball game through. Three and four-ball games have equal standing. During competitions two-balls and three-balls are of equal standing. If any match fails to keep its place on the course and loses a clear hole, it must allow the match following to pass.

Other: No match may proceed to the 1st tee until it is clear and no match may drive off the 1st tee until the preceding match has cleared the first ditch.

The Committee requires that there shall be one bag of clubs for each player.
