South Amghara Scrapyard’s unregulated facilities and zoning have led to unsanitary, dangerous, and unsuitable working and visiting conditions.
This thesis undertakes a systematic approach to destigmatize the Scrapyard by exploring the following question: How can architecture create an efficient, regulated, and inclusive industrial district to replace the existing conditions?
Prefabricated steel structures are used to construct a unified system based on a 10 x 10 meter grid, allowing for simple assembly and disassembly. Plots can expand based on the requirements of the user, allowing them to customize their structures by selecting from a variety of components, such as facade treatments and service components.

Like the way centuries of knowledge died in the Tigris River, the Tigris Skyscraper is a space of resurrecting knowledge by the process of gathering, restoring, translating, and digitizing.
In this proposal, language and regional history are emphasized. Our programmatic elements include a library, and a cultural hub, with many spaces for workshops, classrooms, art studios, delicate restoration centers, and data server rooms that will support this process. The gathering and continuity of knowledge are what is expressed in the architecture through the atrium in the podium and the dynamic skin condition.
1. Continuity
1. Continuity
The architecture is meant to celebrate the continuity and preservation of knowledge. This prompts exploration of visual, programmatic, and structural continuity. This is achieved in the atriums, balconies, and skin of the building.

The details are generated through an exploration of how we use architectural language and arrange it in different syntaxes - therefore “translating” it to adjust to the program.

With the ineffective combination of multiple waterfront proposal that date back more than 30 years, Kuwait’s Waterfront has become both disconnected physically and visually from its surroundings.
The proposed design promotes pedestrianism by creating completely pedestrian friendly local markets. Markets of different categories help small business to flourish. This proposal aims to provide the missing piece that would utlilize Kuwait’s Waterfront to its full potential.

A child’s identity is mainly developed from three main aspects:
1. Family
2. Friends
3. School
Offering a new Elementary School prototype for Kuwait, the Inter-Link aims to entice the community inwards and encourages the students to interact outwards by learning through play. With over 900 schools throughout Kuwait that are abandoned during the holidays, the Inter-Link acts as a communal space for the surrounding area.
The Inter - Link increases the play area percentage of local prototypes from an average of 9% to 30%.
Reconnecting the surrounding residents by linking the main access roads through creating an underground public plaza (the Urban Core).
Starting out with elongating the masses to the east and west. Lateral forces from the vertical roads deflate the masses while inflating as the they go higher providing self shade.
