ARCHI TECTUR PORTFOLIO

Abdullah Alymani

Hello and welcome to my portfolio!

ARCHITECT

I am a passionate architect with an eye for design and a commitment to detail.

I have always been interested in the built environment and its ability to shape and enhance our daily lives. Throughout my career, I have worked on a wide range of projects, from small residential renovations to large commercial complexes. Each project has provided me with an opportunity to explore new ideas and push the boundaries of what is possible.

My approach to architecture is rooted in functionality and sustainability. I believe that a well-designed building should not only look beautiful, but it should also be practical and environmentally responsible. To achieve this, I work closely with my clients to understand their needs and goals, and to ensure that every design decision is made with their best interests in mind.

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me. I am excited to continue my journey as an architect and to create beautiful, functional buildings that make a positive impact on people’s lives.

CENTER

BICYCLE

Athletic Bicycle Center Located in Burbank - Los Angeles (University Project)

Over the years, Burbank and North Hollywood tried to figure out what to do with the quirky wide road, and all the free public space below the giant transmission towers which loomed overhead.

Portions of the land were used as makeshift playgrounds, parks, and bike trails, but by 1973 the city of Burbank was at a loss. and the city had a hard time commercially leasing the land, since nothing permanent could be built The community seemed to have little interest in pushing for landscaping, or the creation of public parks, under the structures. Los Angeles is no stranger to the idea of a bicycle highway. The approximately 1.3mile portion of the California Cycleway, an elevated tollway for bicycles, was completed and opened to the public in 1900 until it was dismantled in the first decade of the 20th century.

ATHLETIC

My thesis idea is to design an athletic center for bikers, the bike path is located between North Hollywood and San Valley, it is a 6 miles long bike path that ends with two big empty parks. I chose to use this site to make it a start and end station for bikers. Also is an engaging area for the residential area surrounding it. I used the projection lines of the streets, buildings, and urban grid to identify the most important moment in the site, to create the main space for gathering. My design is mainly about how bikers could view the outdoor sports as a moving spectators

FACADE

CERAMIC

Ceramic Facade Project Desgin and Biuld (University Project)

In recent years, architects have increas ingly dedicated more time to designing “active facades;” facades that moder ate external climate extremes, that have parametrically designed and digitally fabricated components that are meant to be in some way intelligent.

intelligence is usually intended to respond to naturally occurring events through some form of technological innovation. However, we could also imag ine the “active” aspect of facades as the role they contribute to the flow and experience of the city.

they connected to other points in history, attempted to contribute (and control) surrounding public space, convey alle gorical narratives, etc.

ART

Abstract Painting using acrylic paint (Free lance)

Abstract paintings are a style of art that relies on the use of color, shape, and form to convey meaning and emotion. Unlike representational art that attempts to depict the physical world as it is seen by the artist, abstract art is more about the artist’s emotional and creative response to their surroundings.

Abstract art can vary widely in its composition, with some pieces resembling chaotic splatters of paint, while others feature more structured, geometric shapes. While some abstract paintings may appear simple and easy to create, they often require a great deal of skill and thoughtfulness in their creation.

One of the most important things to understand about abstract art is that it is entirely subjective. What one person sees in a painting may be entirely different from what another person sees. This is part of the beauty of abstract art – the viewer is free to interpret it in their own unique way.

UNIQUE BEING

Architectural Photography use specialized techniques to accentyate the lines, shapes, patterns, and textures of buildings

Architectural photography is the discipline that focuses on capturing the aesthetics and design elements of a building, structure or space. This type of photography requires a keen eye for details, composition and perspective.

Architectural photographers often work with architects, interior designers, real estate agents and developers to create images that showcase a building’s features, whether it be the overall design, the materials used, or the intricate details that make the structure unique. One of the key challenges of architectural photography is capturing the scale and proportions of the building. This requires the use of wide-angle lenses, perspective control lenses, and creative angles that can highlight the building’s size, depth and height.

In recent years, advancements in technology have made architectural photography more accessible to amateurs and professionals alike. High quality cameras, lenses and specialized software have made it easier for photographers to capture and edit images for a variety of purposes, from real estate listings to magazine spreads.
