WHAT IS GREENFLEET?

Greenfleet is a leading not-for-profit environmental organisation protecting our climate by restoring our forests. Greenfleet plants native biodiverse forests to capture carbon emissions and help fight the impacts of climate change. Since 1997, Greenfleet has planted over 10 million trees across 500 forests in Australia and New Zealand.

As they grow, these forests absorb carbon, improve soil and water quality, and restore habitat for native wildlife, including many endangered species. Through practical climate action, Greenfleet is growing hope for our climate.

Our Bioactive toilet paper is Global GreenTag certified. GreenTag is a tool to cut through the greenwash and empower professionals and consumers alike to confidently choose products that have been independently verified to meet strict standards of health and environmental safety.

GreenTag is globally recognised and trusted which removes the doubt when choosing a GreenTag certified product.

Receiving the Global GreenTagCertTM LCARate™ GOLD (Streamlined) certiﬁcation is a testament to our ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability. Rigorous assessment under the Global GreenTag LCARate™ program, which utilises a 'beyond LCA' (Life Cycle Analysis) based rating system, ensures that our product meets exceptional standards of sustainability taking into consideration a broad scope of environmental impacts from cradle to grave. Not only is the paper assessed to be a carbon sink over its cradle-to-grave life cycle, it also actively helps to break down organic matter in the sewage system to reduce odours and minimise clogging without the use of harmful chemicals.

PAPER RANGE

Forest Friendlier Paper Made from Sugarcane

Our Eco range is a revolutionary paper made from part sugarcane, namely recycled sugar cane bagasse, an agricultural crop by-product and is an eco-friendlier option for the environment. Bagasse is the fibrous residue left over after the sugarcane has been crushed and the sugar extracted. The bagasse is pulped and ECF bleached, and then the bagasse fibres are woven to create our paper. The supply is renewable and the manufacturing produces less waste and carbon emissions, leaving you with paper that’s cost effective and forest friendly.
