Throw for Dough If you enjoy hockey, and have some talent with a Frisbee, then you could win $10,000. The Abbotsford Heat hockey squad, in partnership with Panago and the Abbotsford News, is presenting the Throw For Dough contest. From Dec. 30 to March 18, 16 contestants will have the chance to compete for great prizes. On April 2, one finalist has the opportunity to win the grand prize of $10,000. The object of the game is to throw a Frisbee into the open mouth of a plastic cut-out of Hawkey, the Heat mascot. But you have to qualify before you can throw. For your chance to become one of the 16 contestants, look for the contest entry form in today’s edition of the Abbotsford News, fill it out with your contact information and complete the secret phrase. Entries can be dropped off at the News office (34375 Gladys Ave.), at any Heat home game or send the phrase and contact information to throwfordough@ abbynews.com.
