Mental Health and Wellbeing
At Abbey College Cambridge we will support your emotional health through education, awareness days and through our highly trained and committed pastoral and health team. It is important that every student understands how to look after their mental health in the same way we all take responsibility for a physical health, but like a physical illness when we do struggle with our mental health it is important to talk and ask for help. There are many people within Abbey College that you can talk to. There are also lots of people outside of Abbey College who can help. Ways to contact them are listed under advice and counselling. You can also find further information on your boarding house’s ‘Wellbeing’ noticeboard. Useful books can be found in the common rooms and the school library. If you want to raise a concern anonymously you can use ‘tootoot’. This is an app created for students.
