Welcome to Alberta Camp Meeting 2025! I’m absolutely thrilled that you’ve chosen to join us for this celebration of God’s goodness and grace! We’ve been praying for you! We’ve been praying that here at Camp Meeting you will encounter the living Christ in such a way that you’ll be filled with His presence, His wonderful joy, and His amazing gift of hope!
Our Camp Meeting theme this year, “Empowered by the Spirit,” is a reminder that we each need a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit every day so we can live and love like Jesus. Here in Alberta and the Northwest Territories, we’re praying for the Holy Spirit to descend on the church with power. We’re praying for Pentecost. It is my earnest prayer that you will personally experience a fresh baptism of the Holy Spirit at Camp Meeting this week!

Prayer Spots walk:
Make time to be in the presence of the Lord and listen to Him speak to your heart. Maps for the walk will be at the Camp Office. Make time during the week to stop at each prayer spot to reflect and meditate on the Word of the Lord.
Seeking a space to be still and know God?
The Heritage Church, that is the little white church at Foothills Camp, will be available for quiet times with God at 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. each day.
Prayer:
Be the person who opens space for conversations with God. When you chat with someone, say, “Is it okay with you if I pray for you?” If they say, ‘Yes,’ then do it! If they say, ‘No.’ tell them, “That is fine. Have a great day.”
NOTE: Please see page 70 for Prayer Walk Map
In the chapel following the evening meeting in the auditorium, around 8:45 p.m. You are welcome to come together to pray and close out the day. We will have a time of being in the presence of God, sharing God Sightings, praying for the requests that have come in that day. Meetings will be July 19 to 25 inclusive.
The final Friday night, July 25, we will have an anointing service in the chapel following the meeting in the auditorium. You are most welcome to seek the Lord in prayer for healing: spiritually, physically, relationally, emotionally, whatever it is for which you invite God’s intervention.
Prayer Request Boxes: Will be located around the campus, in the various washrooms and main auditorium. Please feel free to put your prayer requests into the boxes provided. The requests will be collected every day.

Pastor, Quebec Conference
Monday, July 21Friday, July 25 (11:00 a.m.)
Esther Paul-Émile, born in Haiti, moved to Montreal, Quebec, at age 12. The transition was difficult, as she missed Haiti’s warm climate, vibrant community, and close friendships. Raised in a Seventhday Adventist family, Esther became deeply involved in church life at Mont Sinai SDA Church in Montreal-North, serving in nearly every department. In 2002, answering God’s call to fulltime ministry, Esther left her role as a government-employed social worker specializing in suicide prevention to pursue theological studies at Andrews University. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Sciences and Religion, a Social Work degree (focused on suicide counseling), and a Master of Divinity. Esther’s greatest passion is prayer and community evangelism—connecting people to Christ and serving with compassion. Her vision is to live and act like Jesus, sharing His love with everyone.

Verse 1
There’s a sweet, sweet spirit in this place, And I know that it’s the spirit of the Lord; Refrain
Sweet Holy Spirit, Sweet Heavenly Dove, Stay right here with us, Filling us with Your love, And for these blessings
We lift our hearts in praise, Without a doubt we’ll know That we have been revived
When we shall leave this place.

There are sweet expressions on each face, And I know they feel the presence of the Lord.

The past year has presented new challenges for us, particularly in the area of supply for some of our traditional foods. We are currently experiencing shortages for Big Franks, Frichik, Swiss Stake, Prime Stake and a few others. The manufacturers are doing their best to have the issues resolved in time for Camp meeting.
A few things will change this year. The most notable is that we will not
be doing the traditional Auditorium Sale the first Sunday of Camp meeting week. Instead, we will have all our new books on sale in the store during the entire week at the special Auditorium sale price. Based on a minimum purchase of new books (minimum amount to be determined), you will be eligible to enter a draw for daily prizes. The sale will run from the first Saturday evening through the second Saturday evening.
We look forward to serving you and pray that you will be richly blessed and empowered by the Spirit this Camp meeting season.
Checkouts are closed until presentations are completed. Thank you for your patience.

Samuel Sinnanainar
Speaker
Voice of Prophecy Canada
Youth Speaker (13-18 yrs)
Pastor Samuel Sinnanainar (SIN-NANAI-NAR) is all about relationships. For him, ministry isn’t just about sermons— it’s about showing up, listening well, and walking with people through real life. Whether in a church hallway, a café, or during a late-night chat, Samuel believes Jesus’ love speaks loudest when it’s lived. He’s passionate about making the gospel clear, practical, and life-changing—especially for youth. He sees them not just as the church’s future, but as its now. That’s why he creates spaces for them to lead, serve, and grow into bold disciples. For Samuel, discipleship is about community, not just content. It’s not about having all the answers—but seeking Jesus together and growing in faith, character, and calling. He’s big on trust, transformation, and helping people discover that life with Jesus is deeply personal—and totally worth it.
Pastor
Alberta Conference
Young Adults Speaker (19-30 yrs)
Location:
“The Tea House” Tent
Pastor Ralph Magsalin is honored to serve as the lead pastor at Red Willow Community Church in St. Albert. He has a heart for ministry and a passion for building Christcentered community and fostering spiritual growth and unity. Pastor Ralph has served in various ministry roles focused on youth and young adult discipleship—he has previously served as the Associate Youth Director with the Manitoba-Saskatchewan Conference, and an Assistant Dean of Residence at Burman University. Pastor Ralph is committed to sharing the Gospel message in a way that invites others to come into an experience with Jesus. Outside of church ministry, he enjoys playing Ultimate Frisbee and long walks with his puppy. He is an avid foodie and loves playoff hockey. He is excited to share the message of Jesus’ love at this Camp Meeting.
“The Freedom Singers” - a gospel music trio who share their music and personal story of escaping Romania due to their Christian convictions and beliefs, seeking refuge in Canada. Their journey involved a perilous escape, including a harrowing experience inside a sealed shipping container, which brought them close to death.
It’s a story of courage and faith in the face of danger. The book was initially self-published Despite offers from major publishers to reissue the book, the authors chose to maintain their original version, emphasizing the role of faith in their survival and not altering the narrative to downplay religious aspects.
In addition to their publishing endeavors, the Freedom Singers used to perform as many as 150 concerts annually across North America, using proceeds from book sales to fund a ministry that supports feeding programs in Romania.

Be sure to stop by for some popcorn, fresh apples, and the best iced water on campus!

3. See Dog Policy (page 68).
4. Skateboards, water guns, firearms, etc. are not permitted on the campground.

6. The maximum occupancy on any camping site is one camping unit plus one same-family tent.
7. A maximum of two vehicles are permitted at one RV site, campsite, or cabin.
8. Camping is ONLY permitted in assigned areas.

The purpose of a Dog Policy for the Alberta Conference annual Camp Meeting is to ensure a safe environment for campers, dogs and have minimal impact on wildlife.
Dogs can be wonderful companions, and a source of great joy. However, at Foothills Camp and Retreat Centre where campers live together in close proximity, there are circumstances that dogs may pose risks to other campers or animals. Risks may include, but are not limited to, severe allergy reactions; infectious diseases or parasites; unpredictable or aggressive behaviour; and fearful reactions. At Foothills Camp pets are limited to dogs.
1. Dog free areas are the Lodge, Cabins, central camp meeting area, indoor program space, public washrooms, the Dining Room and play areas (playgrounds, volleyball/basketball courts, pool area). Accommodations can be made for Service Dogs.
2. All dogs must be registered at the Camp Security office.
3. Dogs are to be well behaved and kept under control at all times:
a. Includes but is not limited to crates, kennels, small fenced enclosures*, tie outs* and leashes.
b. Leashes are not to be longer than 6 feet while walking dogs on the campground.
c. Ensure tie outs do not pose a fall risk hazard.
d. Quiet times are 10:00 pm – 7:00 am.
4. Children are to be a minimum age of ten and with sufficient strength to restrain their dog on their own.
5. Children under the age of ten are to be supervised at all times with any dog on the campground.
6. Impact on the campground’s wildlife is to be minimized.
7. Dog feces is to be cleaned up and disposed of in garbage bins by dog’s owner, or the dog walker.
8. Dogs must be free from any infectious disease.
9. Dogs must have up-to-date immunizations and it is strongly recommended that dogs be on a flea treatment regime.
10. Dogs that exhibit the following behaviours to other animals, children or adults will require stronger boundaries/control measures:
a. Ferocious barking
b. Lunging
c. Growling, snarling or snapping
d. Outside continuous barking for more than 15 seconds without correction
