The meditation facility has a serene atmosphere and is surrounded by natural beauty. A facility like this is critical for providing students a breathing space and peace of mind.
On the ground floor, there are offices for the accounting department, the HR department, and many other departments, as well as conference spaces and a seminar hall for small events.
The first level has a common space for the personnel, the chairman’s office, and the board room.
The courtyard and the pattern on the roof, which allows for the play of light and shadow in the structure, are the building’s key features. It features 7 lecture halls on various floors, as well as auxiliary amenities such as laboratories and faculty rooms. It is intended for 400 students.
Site -Shettihalli Church , Hassan
The project aimed at reviving the glory of Shettihalli church through adaptive reuse & renovation of the existing structure , incorporating it with a new design intervention and finding a suitable solution to control flooding in the region.
In order to respect the heritage of the place, the structure was not greatly altered but only strengthened and a glass roof was added so it could function as an exhibition and temporary market space.
Along with galleries for art, craft, sculpture, and local architecture, multipurpose spaces for cultural events, and photography zones, the museum was designed to be a cultural destination.
Inspired from the Japanese flood control method .The solution provided on the site to control flood was to provide an underground discharge tunnels system. When there is excess water in the reservoir, it will flow into the subterranean tunnels before it overflows. This water can subsequently be used for a variety of purposes, including the site’s landscaping elements.
To enhance the visitors’ experience, the site contains water channels that are an intrinsic component of the landscape, as well as numerous green spaces. There are also shooting areas and an open-air theatre for outdoor cultural events.

ELECTRICAL LAYOUT
The Vennar Chatram is a stellar example of amalgamation of Maratha and British architecture. It was utilised as a school for the less fortunate as well as a temporary storage facility for grain sacks. It is one of the 18 chatrams erected by Thanjavur’s Maratha kings. Chatrams were more than just boarding houses. They supplied food, medical care, and shelter for the animals that accompanied travellers in the 18th and 19th century.
Most remarkable feature of the chattram was the pointed vault .There is a repetitive use of the semi circular arches . The materials used for construction were bricks plastered with lime .
The Kalyan Mahal Chatram -Thiruvaiyaru ,Thanjavur is located on the banks of river kaveri is a brilliant example of the Maratha Architecture amalgamated with Greek architecture elements. It was initially constructed for the pilgrims to address their basic needs. At present the chatram is used as a girls hostel and though its not very well maintained but it is habitable.
