If it’s magnificent views you’re after, you’ll get them from the Puketapu (Sacred Hill) Lookout, Ngā Tapuwae o Toi Walkway (perhaps New Zealand’s oldest pā), and a track over the western headland. Other activities on this prime piece of coastal land include golf at Ōhope’s 18-hole international course or hopping on board a fishing charter boat to check out the abundant marine life.
