AATG Chapter Presidents Meeting
All AATG Chapter Presidents (or a designated representative) are invited to attend the AATG Chapter Presidents Meeting, which will be conducted virtually by Zoom on Sunday, November 6, 2022, at 12:00 noon Eastern (11:00 am Central, 10:00 am Mountain, 9:00 am Pacific). Chapter presidents were emailed an invitation on October 14; please RSVP by November 3.
AATG Awards Presentation
Plan to join us at the AATG Awards Presentation on Sunday, November 13, 2022 at 12:00 noon Eastern (11:00 am Central, 10:00 am Mountain, 9:00 am Pacific) to celebrate great German teachers and programs. Members, colleagues, family and friends are all welcome at this virtual celebration -- and no RSVP is needed. This will be conducted virtually in order to enhance access and inclusion for all. AATG Week of Giving
A Week of Giving will take place from November 13 through November 21, 2022, sponsored by the AATG Fundraising Committee.
AATG Membership Meeting
All members are invited to attend the AATG Membership Meeting, which will be conducted virtually by Zoom in order to enhance access and inclusion for all members, using modified Roberts Rules of Order, on Sunday, December 4, 2022, at 1:00 pm Eastern (12:00 pm Central, 11:00 am Mountain, 10:00 am Pacific). Members may submit motions by November 14 to president Priscilla Layne (layne.aatg@unc.edu).
Members must RSVP for the meeting in advance. You can RSVP here (aatg.org/page/MembershipMeeting), and you will receive an email in advance with meeting materials and a link to join the Zoom meeting.
AATG/ACTFL Annual Convention
The ACTFL 2022 Convention will take place November 18 –20, 2022 in Boston (and online), and offers exceptional professional learning and collaborative networking opportunities, featuring AATG sponsored presentations on a variety of topics. Here are a few of the many opportunities to join and network with colleagues:
Open Forum with AATG Leadership on Friday, November 18 at 11:30 am, in Room 156C in the Convention Center -- learn about current projects and ongoing initiatives, new developments, and plans for the future.
Meet the AATG Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee on Friday, November 18 at 4:30 pm, in Room 156C in the Convention Center and learn about their work.
AATG FL-A-CH SIG Meeting on Saturday, November 19 at 3:30 pm, in Room 156A in the Convention Center -meet members of the AATG FL-A-CH Special Interest Group, which promotes the teaching of Fürstentum Liechtenstein, Austria, South Tyrol, and Switzerland in German language instruction K-16.
