Site - Rajkot
Materials:

Brief :
To design a housing project for our site in Rajkot. It was important to address the hot climate of the region. For which integrating pockets of green spaces along with the built was the approach taken.
Privacy, along with unique and open views from each apartment was to be the most importantant factor of the project.
It focused on building a houses that a resident feels unique about and can consider it as his own identity; and a community that comes together to share, grow, thrive and respects and celebrates their existance. New solutions like parking in the parking in the periphery of the site and diagonal placement of the built masses were incorporated.

Sem - VI
Year - 2024
Site - Ahmedabad
Materials:
Concrete
Brick
Brief:
To design a cultural centre for people of the city. A place where people come to celebrate their shared past and values, to rejoice, learn, and grow. The programme wanted spaces that can hold large scale exhibitions, performances, practice spaces and caffeteria.
The approach towards the building should be such that it can be partly seen from the outside, but as a person gets into the site, he is lost meandering towars the mamoth complex. A ramp with an extremely gentle slope has been given for circulation of the visitors while they enjoy their exhibition journey.
The vision towards the institution is such that it shall become a centre for city’s cultural occasions and a place which helps communities thrive.
