CRAFT CLUSTER (DURATION-7WEEKS)

Probiling into indigenous textile, clothing traditions and local identities,by working with craft cluster in Barmer, Rajasthan.

The Project aims at enhancing the understandning of Indian clothing, techniques,culture and history.

DHANAU

Dhanau, the beautiful village of Rajasthan had so much to explore. It was a great opportunity to dig deep into indian cultural sensibility.

It was incredible to see how people made conversations through their clothes,jewellery,body language,beliefs.

REVERSE APPLIQUE

PROCESS

Reverse applique adds stitch to the top layer of fabric and reveals layers of fabric below. It is achieved by plac (use a stitch un-picker to separate the layers) Repeat the stitch and cut method for any subsequent layers.
