Dobsons is a finalist in prestigious Hertfordshire awards

Dobsons in Cheshunt is celebrating after being announced as a finalist in the ‘Property & Construction Project of the Year’ category of the Inspiring Hertfordshire Awards 2023. The nomination was for a large home renovation project in Potters Bar which involved completely refurbishing the client’s home from top to bottom in addition to building two small extensions at the property.

Dobsons director Helen Dobson said: “I am delighted that we have been nominated for this project. It was a real labour of love for our whole team and the first home renovation project of this type that we have taken on. “We are up against some much larger construction companies in this category which makes this achievement even more impressive, and we can’t wait for the awards in June!”

In addition to the luxury kitchens, bathrooms and glazing Dobsons is well known for, full home renovations were added to the company’s product offering in late 2021.

The renovations side of the business began in response to customer demand and has really taken off since.

All renovations are fully project managed in-house and undertaken to the high standard that clients have come to expect from Dobsons.

The awards ceremony takes place at Warner Bros. Studios in Leavesden on Thursday 22nd June, where the winner will be announced.
