Jim Broadbent and Penelope Wilton star in this film based on the best-selling book of the same name. Recently retired, Harold Fry (Broadbent) is well into his 60s and happy to fade away into the background until he learns that an old friend, Queenie, is dying. He sets off to the post box to send her a letter and decides to keep on walking – all the way to her hospice, 450 miles away.

A live action movie version from Disney of the much-loved story in which Ariel, the youngest of King Triton’s daughters, longs to find out more about life beyond the sea and, while visiting the surface, meets and falls in love with the dashing Prince Eric. She makes a deal with the evil sea witch Ursula which gives her a chance to experience life on land but, ultimately places her life – and her father’s crown – in jeopardy.
