Bob Dylan tribute band the Bob Villains return to Southern Maltings in Ware on Saturday 20th

May at 7pm in a show that celebrates this ground-breaking artist’s 82nd birthday. They will relive Dylan’s 1966 period which saw him tour with a concert set in two halves – the first part being just him, his acoustic guitar and harmonica, the second with a fivepiece, full-on electric band.

Two exhibitions at Parndon Mill gallery

This is a crossover month at The Gallery at Parndon Mill in Harlow, with one exhibition finishing and another beginning. On Reflection features paintings of landscapes, rocks and stones by Linda Anderson, complemented with ceramics by Gemma Smale and runs until Sunday 14th May. Then from Thursday 18th May until Sunday 25th June, the new exhibition will be called Time, Traces and Transformation. This features current work by six multi-disciplinary artists who met at Digswell Arts Studios near Welwyn, Caryl Beach, Mary Down, Jonathan Emmerson, Marian Hall, Declan Hoare and Sally Tyrie.
